Introduction - My Wiring World & Myself

My name is Zhiheng Luo, I came from China. I came to New Zealand about 13 years ago. I really enjoy working on the electrical industrial works, So last year I've decided to do this electrical trade course at Unitec.

Throughout these two semesters, I've learn alot about electricity. The most important concept I've learn about electricity is SAFE. In this course I've learn how to wire a domestic electricity system.

In the following posts, you will see the my panel board work at Unitec.

Completing certificate of compliance

Certificate of compliance was the last thing we did in this course. John taught us how to write up the CoC for our panel board at the last day of the semester. I found it pretty easy and straight forward.

Completing test sheets

I found completing the test sheets for my panel boards and outside frame to be one of the most challenging part of this course. It was difficult to understand the testing methods, but it started to clear up once I get my hand onto the testing.
